# Public MCP tools

> The read-only MacroFeed tool surface.

MacroFeed exposes eleven public, read-only MCP methods.

| `health_check`          | Read service health and configured capability.        |
| `list_indicators`       | List supported indicators and source mappings.        |
| `list_countries`        | List represented countries and regions.               |
| `list_currencies`       | List covered currencies.                              |
| `get_upcoming_events`   | Query a bounded economic-calendar window.             |
| `get_next_release`      | Resolve the next matching scheduled release.          |
| `get_event`             | Retrieve one event by `eventId`.                      |
| `get_release_history`   | Query historical actual and previous observations.    |
| `get_coverage_summary`  | Inspect event counts, date ranges, and field density. |
| `list_calendar_sources` | List official source methods.                         |
| `get_calendar_window`   | Return compact normalized event snapshots.            |
