## Official truth layer

Schedules, actual values, previous observations, revisions, timestamps, and release documents originate directly from primary publishing institutions.

## Release comparison

MacroFeed derives absolute change, percentage change where the previous value is non-zero, and neutral `higher`, `lower`, or `unchanged` direction from official actual and previous values. Direction does not imply whether a release is economically favorable.

## Honest absence

MacroFeed does not invent missing values or historical release dates. Nullable fields and explicit period-only records preserve the difference between unavailable and verified data. MacroFeed focuses strictly on verified timing, actual observations, official previous records, and derived changes.
